President, Kimberly Peace HillKim is the co-founder and inspiration for Blue Thanksgiving, Inc. She has worked for over thirty years in various aspects of special events and trade shows and currently owns a small business specializing in wedding and party planning. Kim and her husband Doug started Blue Thanksgiving as a private endeavor in 2014 and she has served as president and CEO since BTI was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2019.
Secretary, Douglas A HillDoug is the co-founder of Blue Thanksgiving, Inc. He is an attorney who has lived and practiced law in Cobb County for nearly forty years and currently works for Cobb Legal Aid, a non-profit law firm. Doug serves as BTI’s corporate secretary.

Treasurer, Rose MooreRosemarie "Rose" Moore is a Smyrna native, a conservative Patriot, and is passionate about her faith in Christ. She is married to Greg Moore, a retired Cobb County Police Officer and together they enjoy their beautiful family of children and grandchildren.
Her background is in administrative, and childhood education. As an ardent supporter of law enforcement Rose joined Blue Thanksgiving in 2020 and is excited to serve on the Board as Treasurer. |
Director, Chief Tim Cox (Retired)Tim has served as a law enforcement officer for approximately 37 years at the Cobb County Police Department. He worked in all rank positions from patrol officer to police chief, and retired from the Cobb County Police Department in December, 2021. Tim is married to his lovely wife, Jenny and together they have two children. Tim and Jenny joined the Blue Thanksgiving board of directors in 2022.
Director, Jenny CoxJenny has lived in Cobb County for the majority of her life. She is married to Tim Cox, and together they have two grown sons and an amazing daughter-in-law. Jenny spent many of her adult years in Early Childhood Education. Her current position is Human Resources Manager for a local company. Jenny is excited to serve on Blue Thanksgiving's Board of Directors and to continue to support the awesome men and women in law enforcement.

Director, Deputy Chief Steve KucyndaSteve serves as Deputy Chief for the Cobb County Police Department where he has worked for over 26 years. He is married to fellow board member, Robin and together they have two beautiful daughters. Steve is honored to be a part of an organization that helps the men and women who protect us every day, and has served as a Blue Thanksgiving board member since 2019.
Director, Robin KucyndaRobin has worked for Carmax for the past 16 years. She enjoys giving back to the police officers who serve our community, and is proud to have joined with her husband Steve on the Blue Thanksgiving Board of Directors in 2021.

Director, Captain Matt BrownAfter serving as an MP in the Marines, Matt joined the Cobb County Police Department, where he has served his community for over 29 Years. He has worked numerous assignments, ranging from the Special Victims Unit, Homicide, Internal Affairs to Special Operations, to where he currently serves as the Major Crimes Commander. Matt has been married to his sweet wife Barbie Brown for 22 years and together, they have a beautiful daughter, Alexis. Matt and Barbie are excited to serve on the board for Blue Thanksgiving and support all of our men and women in law enforcement.
Director, Barbie BrownBarbie is an avid supporter of law enforcement. Her genuine love for helping others, involves serving not only with Blue Thanksgiving but as a Director for another nonprofit, SafePath Children’s Advocacy Center. Barbie works hand in hand with the Special Victims Unit, helping fight child abuse and is passionate about everything she does. She is a big believer in philanthropy and helping others whenever she can. She has volunteered and sponsored many local events, and has been instrumental in helping raise funds for our law enforcement families. Barbie is a Partner with Coastal Consulting, and loves spending time with her family and friends!

Kristen and Ben King
Kristen is our Volunteer Coordinator and has been vital in the coordinating of the Publix Bakery pickup and deliveries program we have. She is an Emergency Room RN and together with Ben has two children. Ben has been in law enforcement for seven years and is currently a Detective with the Cobb County Police Department. Leslie Newlander
has always been a strong advocate and supporter for law enforcement and came to us in 2022, asking how she could be a part. She has been on multiple campaign committees and we are thrilled she is now a member of this board. Her beloved golden retriever, Emily has become our "mascot" and enjoys visiting with on-duty officers around the county. Connie and Shayne Burson Connie serves as Administrative Specialist with the Cobb County Police Department and is a former 911 dispatcher for Cobb County. She is married to Sgt. Shayne Burson, who serves with the Cobb County Sheriff's Office, and together they have two children. Shayne has been with Cobb S.O. for ten years. In addition to their jobs in law enforcement, Connie and Shayne find time to volunteer with non-profits that support officers and their families. We are excited to have them both as an advisory board members with Blue Thanksgiving, Inc.
Dana Atwood serves as the Admin to the State Fraternal Order of Police board , as well as running her own consulting business. She has been married to a retired Cobb County Police officer, Tom Atwood for over 35 years. . She has 3 children and 4 grandchildren .
In addition to her various positions , she is also the Secretary to FOP Lodge 13 Auxiliary . She has been involved in various ways with police support projects throughout Tom’s 29 plus years of law enforcement . |
Bob Pierce has dedicated his life to law enforcement for over 45 years and has been honored for his commitment to public safety by receiving multiple awards and recognition, including the Cobb County Fraternal Order of Police's Officer of The Year, Cobb Chamber Public Safety's Distinguished Achievement Award and recognition into the Congressional Record by former Former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich's. Bob has served on the Georgia Department of Driver Services Executive Board since Governor Nathan Deal appointed him in 2016. He has hosted many successful golf tournaments raising money for numerous charities. He enjoys golf, spending time with friends, family and especially his 6 grandchildren.
Sgt. Jason Church serves the community as a Deputy with the Cobb County Sheriff's Office. He is recently married, and is the father of two beautiful daughters. Jason volunteers his time with other non-profits, and as an advisor to our organization, helping point out needs within the law enforcement community. Jason and his daughters were the first sponsored family of our Blue Family Christmas project (formerly named "A Church Family Christmas") after the loss of his first wife and teenage step-son. He has "paid it forward" ever since and we are thrilled to have him as a member of our team and serving on this board.

Officer Andrew Siegel was one of the five officers Blue Thanksgiving sponsored in our 2022 Blue Family Christmas Campaign and expressed an interest in joining our organization in any capacity where he could “pay it forward”.
Officer Andrew Siegel came to the Powder Springs Police Department by way of the Cobb County Sheriff's Office in May of 2022 and presently serves as a Field Training Officer. He started his law enforcement career in 2017 earning his basic jailer’s certification and working at the Cobb County jail, as a Cobb Sheriff’s Deputy. In short time, he obtained his Basic Law Enforcement certification and went from the jail with Cobb County Sheriff’s Office to MCS (Marietta Cobb Smyrna) which is a joint drug/undercover task force. When Officer Siegel chose to enter police work, he chose the Powder Springs Police Department, joining in May 2022. Dara-Lynn McClure grew up in Cobb County, and is formerly with the Cobb County Police Department as an Administrative Specialist at Precincts 4 and 5. Dara-Lynn is a newlywed, having recently married, and lives in Cobb County. Dara-Lynn grew up as the daughter of a Cherokee County Sheriff's Deputy and law enforcement has always been a large part of her life. Dara-Lynn has been an active volunteer with Blue Thanksgiving for several years, serving on planning committees for a number of campaigns. We are proud to have her with us on the Board of Advisors.
